Russia Launches Strikes on Ukrainian Fuel Sites
The ministry reported that its latest operations targeted key logistical points, including berthing sites used for fuel deliveries to Ukrainian troops. In addition, Russian strikes hit a drone assembly facility and over 140 locations housing Ukrainian combat units and foreign fighters.
The ministry reported that Russian strikes targeted temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian military units and foreign mercenaries across 148 locations.
As part of their ground offensive, Russian troops also seized control of two settlements in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region and another in the central Dnipropetrovsk region, the ministry added.
Ukrainian authorities reported extensive damage from Russian overnight strikes, with President Volodymyr Zelensky confirming that a gas distribution station in the Odesa region was targeted in the assault.
In northern Ukraine, drone strikes on the Sumy region left 14 people injured, according to Zelensky. Meanwhile, in the Donetsk region, airstrikes damaged five apartment buildings, trapping at least three individuals as rescue teams continued emergency efforts.
Ukraine’s Air Force reported that Russian forces unleashed a large-scale overnight assault on Tuesday, deploying 93 combat and decoy drones alongside two Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
