US Attacks Multiple Army Sites in Iran in Initial Two Days
“CENTCOM forces are striking targets to dismantle the Iranian regime's security apparatus, prioritizing locations that pose an imminent threat,” the command stated on the social media platform X.
The strikes focused on a range of strategic locations, including command and control centers, the headquarters and aerospace force bases of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), integrated air defense sites, ballistic missile launch facilities, naval vessels and submarines, anti-ship missile positions, and military communications networks.
To conduct these operations, the US deployed a broad spectrum of assets, including B-2 stealth and B-1 bombers, F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, and F-35 fighter jets, A-10 attack aircraft, EA-18G electronic warfare planes, MQ-9 Reaper drones, nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, guided-missile destroyers, and Patriot and THAAD missile defense systems.
According to CENTCOM, the campaign has already achieved notable results, with all 11 Iranian vessels in the Gulf of Oman reportedly destroyed. US President Donald Trump stated that 49 Iranian leaders have been killed, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Overnight Sunday, B-2 bombers also struck Iran’s fortified ballistic missile facilities.
Since the start of operations, at least six US service members have been killed and 18 others seriously injured, while Iran has launched retaliatory drone and missile attacks targeting Gulf nations and US military installations.
